Color Consultation: Virtual

This blog aims to walk you through the virtual consultation process from start to finish. We will also address common questions and concerns that may arise along the way. Why Virtual?

We offer our consultations in a virtual format, meaning not in person. In order to free up sooner service availability on stylist schedules and avoid needing extra visits to the salon prior to the date of your service. These virtual consultations help your stylist determine what service options will best achieve your desired goal and if they are the best fit to assist you through this process.

Who requires a virtual consultation prior to booking?

Consultations are required for all new color clients. They are also required for existing clients that are looking for a transformation. This means if your desired goal for your next visit is not something that you and your stylist have recently discussed or outside of the recommended maintenance of your last service. If this is the case, we would ask that you reach out to the stylist or call the salon to determine if a virtual consultation will be necessary to determine what service to schedule.

What is the easiest way to get started?

We recommend you start by filling out a new client form and a team member will contact you to to finish consulting and booking.

How to set up through online booking site?

 To Set up a consultation through our  online booking site and sign in to your account. If you have not already been to the salon you can set up an account by clicking “Register”. If you have already been to the salon then you already have an account set up. If you do not know your password, you can reset your password by clicking “Set Password”. How to pick a time?

When booking a virtual consultation online please keep in mind the stylist will NOT reach out at the exact date and time that you schedule. The stylist will contact you up to 72 hrs after the date and time you select. Since the consultation is done virtually the date and time scheduled is arbitrary, so for this reason we always recommend choosing the earliest date and earliest time possible. This ensures that the stylist will reach out to you as soon as they are available. 

Why will it take up to 72 hours to receive contact?

Many of our stylists are in high demand and often book out weeks in advance. We also encourage a healthy work life balance for our stylists so most of them do not consult during their personal time. This is why we ask that you give them up to 72 hours after your selected consultation date to contact you. 

What is the client’s part of the process?

Once you set up your virtual consultation, you will receive a text with a link to fill out a consultation form. After submitting the form, please text the requested photos, as outlined on the form to the same number that sent your the form link. 

What is the stylist’s part of the process?

Once the stylist receives your form and photos, they will review the information and contact you to answer any questions, give a quote, and schedule the service. Please allow up to 72 hours after the scheduled consultation date and time to receive contact. 

How will the stylist contact me for the virtual consultation?

The stylist will reach out via text message or phone call after reviewing your consultation form and photos. Please note: This consultation is not in person or via video chat, such as, Facetime, Zoom, Skype, etc.

What if the stylist is NOT best fit to achieve your goal?

Upon reviewing your consultation form and photos, if the stylist feels they are not best fit to achieve your desired goal, they will make a recommendation for another stylist and have them contact you.

What if the stylist doesn’t feel the goal is achievable?

Upon reviewing your consultation form and photos, if the stylist feels the desired goal is not achievable, they will inform you and recommend alternative options.

What if I am unable to complete the client’s part of the process?

If you are unable to complete your part of the virtual consultation process or would prefer to come in person. Please call us at 850-437-0007 and a Guest Experience Expert would be happy to schedule you for an in person consultation at a date and time of the stylist’s choosing.

The Virtual Process: Step-By-Step

  1. Upon booking your consultation, whether online or over the phone, you will automatically receive a text with a  link to access the consultation form. Please select “Tap to Load Preview” to open.

 

        2. Carefully read and answer all questions with full transparency.
 
 
       3. Verify your contact information.
 

      4. Check the box to consent to Electronic Records/Signature.

      5. Sign your name in the E-Sign Box.

      6. Select “Submit”

      7. You can view a copy of your completed form by selecting “View Signed Form” or by visiting your email.

      8. Now that your form is complete, it is time to text your photos. Return to the text field that sent the consultation form.

      9. Here is an outline of the photos the stylist will need.

      10. Once your stylist receives both your form and photos. Please allow up to 72 hours after your scheduled consultation date and time for them to review and contact you.
