Studio Session: Aidan
Aidan was one of the models for our “Bayou Adventures” styled outdoor shoot. In preparation, we invited him in for a cut and color session that would later be showcased through the lens. We took this opportunity to get some clean studio shots that focused on the cut and color in a controlled and well-lit environment.
ABOUT THE CONCEPT
The concept was to highlight the color and cut on a clean, white background without any outside aesthetics and stylings to maintain a hyper focus on the artistry of the stylist to showcase a range of skills.
ABOUT THE MODEL
Aidan’s hair color was inspired by a watercolor palette. We started by removing the length and cutting a low fade. After an all-over lightening of his hair, we created a five-color pastel palette to pull together the finished look. The hard lines in the hair were a spontaneous thought that we improvised before heading to the studio.
