San Carlos Styled Shoot
This was Salon San Carlos’ first ever styled shoot that we put together. We used this as an opportunity to learn the details of the process and allow our team’s creativity to shine through a new medium.
ABOUT THE CONCEPT
We went into this shoot with a blank slate conceptually. Since it was our team’s first time working with styled photography, we wanted to keep everything simple and clean so that we could let the concept develop organically along the way. The background was clean and white with a simple wardrobe selection, focusing on the process instead of feeling constrained or pressured by a preconceived concept.
ABOUT THE MODELS
Much like our conceptual approach, we wanted our models to feature everyday hairstyles that they would normally wear and showcase their natural textures. All cuts and styles were done by several Salon San Carlos artists.
